I'm Amy.

I am an artist. I have been drawn to art in many forms since my middle school years. Painting landscapes is relaxing to me. Oil painting is my favorite. This past year I decided to pick up a grandma hobby and learned to embroidery as another form of art!

I am a mom, a step mom, and a grandma.

I love the mountains. My dad thinks I am obsessed. I am okay with that. In recent years I have also discovered that hiking to remote places in the mountains is refreshing to my soul. I love the smell of mountain pines, listening to the sounds of the Thompson river rushing. When I am there I am memorized by towering cliffs and mountain lakes. Getting sore feet from our hiking adventures is my idea of an amazing time!

I don't like to be in front of the camera and would rather be taking the photos! I am working on putting myself in your shoes. And I want my children to remember our adventures together and how much I love all six of them.

What sets my soul on fire is working with families. Who doesn't love those sweet moments of a childhood? I want you to remember how they snuggle and peek around your leg when they are bashful, or when they give you Eskimo kisses, or even when they run around chasing each other and you wonder where they get all their energy! I know I want to remember those moments with my children. What moments of your life and your loved ones do you cherish and want to remember?
